National Organisations
	The National Autistic Society is a UK-wide organisation for people with autism and their carers. www.nas.org.uk
	ADDISS provides information and advice on ADHD, ADD and ASD. www.addiss.co.uk
	The Advisory Centre for Education provides free telephone advice on issues around education. www.ace-ed.org
	IPSEA provides free, independent advice on education-related issues, including statementing, educational provision and bullying. www.ipsea.org.uk

Local Organisations (in and around the London Borough of Barnet)
	The Barnet Branch of the National Autistic Society aims to increase local awareness of autism and provide information, support and advocacy for anyone affected by autism. www.barnetnas.org.uk
	YASS! is a self-help support group, whose work includes information giving, and group social outings for young people aged 0-19 with ASD.
	IPOP offers support and advice to families of disabled children and young people aged 5-18 years old in the London Borough of Barnet. 	Autism London provides impartial support, advice and information to those affected by autism living in Greater London. www.autismlondon.org.uk
	BCASS provides trained and experienced care workers who can take over the responsibility of caring for special needs children in the home to give parents a break.
	Barnet Carers' Centre offers advice, support and training for parents or other carers. Barnet Young Carers and Siblings has support groups, outings and clubs for siblings of children with disabilities. www.carers.org/local/london/barnet/
