Our new 1:1 online autism advice session is designed to give you the personalised guidance, tools, and confidence you need — all in a safe, understanding space.
What’s Included
For £65, you’ll receive:
- A 1-hour private consultation with one of our experienced autism advisors
- Tailored advice specific to your child’s needs and your family’s situation
- A follow-up email with practical, relevant resources based on the topics you discussed
- Support that is neurodiverse-led, compassionate, and grounded in real-life experience

Meet Your Advisors
Vesna is a Family Support Manager with almost 20 years of experience supporting autistic individuals and their families. She has gained her knowledge in the field of autism through a variety of professional roles, alongside her personal journey parenting her autistic son. This combination of personal and professional insight gives her a deep understanding of the challenges and achievements families experience.
Vesna is committed to helping parents and carers build confidence, knowledge, and resilience to ensure the best possible outcomes for autistic children and their families. Throughout her career, she has designed and led parent support groups, facilitated workshops, delivered professional training, and provided tailored one to one advice sessions in variety of settings. Vesna holds postgraduate degrees in Autism and Positive Behaviour Support, and she strives to improve her practice through ongoing research and professional development.
With over 20 years of teaching experience, followed by another 10 years working with autistic children and young adults, Kae brings a wealth of knowledge, warmth, creativity and deep understanding to their work. They began their career in secondary education before moving into Special Educational Needs (SEN), where they focused on helping autistic students build life skills and confidence in core subjects. Their work has included leading engaging projects like animation and supporting families through workshops and school-based initiatives. Neurodiverse themself, Kae is deeply committed to inclusive education and continues to research areas such as behaviour, communication and neurodivergent profiles to deliver thoughtful, well-informed support to families and schools.
Rashane has over 10 years of experience specialising in autism. His career has included leading behaviour teams in SEN schools, where he managed complex incidents and worked closely with parents and carers to create safe, supportive environments. Rashane has also run youth services for children excluded from mainstream education, helping them re-engage through tailored support and positive relationships. As a trauma-informed practitioner, he is deeply passionate about providing meaningful, compassionate care to those who need it most — always striving to empower, uplift, and advocate for every individual he works with.
Emily is our Behaviour Support and Training Manager and has been with Resources for Autism for 10 years, working across a variety of roles. Her background includes providing direct 1:1 support to children and adults of all ages – often focusing on individuals with high support needs, a PDA profile or AuDHD and working closely with families whose children are at risk of placement breakdown at home or school.
Drawing from both practical experience and personal insight into neurodivergence, Emily takes a strengths-led approach to help you build on what’s already working. She offers guidance in understanding behaviour, navigating processing, communication and sensory needs. Emily also designs and delivers comprehensive training for parents and professionals on autism and related topics, making her a valuable resource for anyone seeking deeper understanding and effective support.

- Diagnosis, Medical or Clinical Advice – we cannot diagnose autism but can advise around how to seek a diagnosis.
- Safeguarding issues
- Crisis support and Mental Health crisis support.
- Formal Advocacy Services
- Therapeutic or Counselling Services – this space is not a therapy session but we can signpost to these services if needed.
- Immigration or Asylum Support
Please note: Our 1:1 online advice sessions offer general advice and support around autism-related topics. However, we are unable to provide assistance with the following: legal advice, housing and accommodation issues, financial advice, diagnosis, medical or clinical advice (including providing an autism diagnosis), safeguarding concerns, crisis or mental health support, formal advocacy services, therapeutic or counselling services and immigration or asylum support. We can offer guidance on how to access appropriate services and signpost where needed.
