The Lewisham Autism Hub by Resources for Autism offers a number of services for CYP until the age of 25 including:

Autism Support Services
Caspa Bromley
Social clubs in age divisions, weekend and holiday trips and activities (including our beloved summer residentials), life skills workshops and online communities. Arts are a main topic of the groups, too (theatre, music and more)
Drumbeat Autism Outreach and School Service
We are an educational outreach service for autistic and neurodivergent children and young people, their families, and professionals. We are not diagnostic dependent. We work to support meaningful inclusion of neurodivergent CYP in partnership schools and settings through early identification of need and targeted intervention.
Explorers Plus Stay and Play
A stay and play session for parents who are concerned with their child’s (0-5) developmental needs. Run as a partnership between the Early Youth Alliance and the Portage team, this is a fantastic opportunity for your children to play in a safe environment while meeting with early years professionals. Run on Mondays at the Evelyn Center, Tuesdays in Bellingham and Wednesdays at the Camelot Center.
Lewisham Short Breaks
The Integrated Services for Children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) has established a Short Breaks service to meet legislative duties and:
- enable eligible children and young people with a disability who have been assessed as needing support to be provided with resources to meet their identified outcomes.
- enable eligible parents/carers with disabled children and young people to have a short break from their caring responsibilities.
- ensure that while the parents/carers are receiving a short break from their caring responsibilities, their disabled child or young person’s additional needs are being met and they are benefiting as much as their parents/carers from this short break.

The local charity providing support, information, news and events for Lewisham families of autistic children (including pre-diagnosis) up to 25 years old.
Lewisham Portage Team
Portage is a home-visiting educational service for pre-school children with SEND and their families.
Portage aims to:
- work with families to help them develop a quality of life and experience, for themselves and their young children, in which they can learn together, play together, participate and be included in their community.
- play a part in minimising the disabling barriers that confront young children and their families.
- support the national and local development of inclusive services for children.

The Multi-agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)
Provides a single point of access to the services that help keep children safe. It is a multi-agency team made up of representatives from a range of services that provide advice, support and protection as needed.

Fun Fizzical
A weekly exercise group for Children with special needs. Sessions run by Sarah Thorn and Darren Brown. Activities include trampoline, ball games, soft shapes, badminton, parachute games and dance.
Fun Fizzical is 90 minutes of fun and games lead by fully qualified instructors. Parents are welcome to stay in the gym or relax in the café area.

Family Hubs
Family Hubs are a ‘one stop shop’ to support families as early as possible through ensuring they are linked with the correct universal services.
Family Navigators are based across the Family Hubs to support families, carers, and young people to navigate the assorted services available across Lewisham. They are also able to provide outreach to agencies and can work alongside professionals to support families, carers, and young people in accessing the family Hubs

Transforming Care in Autism
The aim of the service is to:
- reduce and, where possible, prevent the number of inpatient admissions and support a successful and timely discharge back into the community for autistic adults,
- provide a service development pathway, involving supporting staff in inpatient and community mental health services to develop knowledge, skills, and confidence in working with autistic services users who have mental health needs and/or present with behaviour that is deemed ‘challenging.’
